Universal Academy

The administration at Universal Academy prides itself on it's connection with students and parents. Concerns are heard and issues addressed in a timely manner.

Not a day goes by that I do not regret placing my child at this school. My son was bullied in a manner that you would never expect in the first grade. For weeks I tried I talk to Mrs. David (the principal) who refused to fully address the issue. I finally pulled my son out when I picked him up early for a doctor appointment and noticed he had a handprint on his face and neck (yes I took pictures and reported it to the office) the principal literally closed the door to her office and refused to speak with me. I told them I would not bring my son back until they provided a solution for the problem and after not hearing from them in two weeks I pulled him out. The day I withdrew my son was the only day Mrs. Davis spoke to me, and all she had to say was that she was glad, she would not have to deal with me. I was shocked! I have never been so disrespected in my life...not to mention the fact that she never had to "deal" with me because she refused to talk to me! I have 4 friends who have pulled their children out for un-addressed bullying. Basically if your child is not Indian, he or she will be different and will not be accepted. My poor baby was traumatized, I had to pay $75 a week for 6 months of therapy, and I had to homeschool last year! Please do not send your children here. I wish there were a way for all those who have been victims at this school to start a serious investigation!

My grand daughter has been attending this academy for 3 years and I would not change schools for anything. She is a Eagle and can soar as high as she may go.She is well advanced and the work to children in other surrounding school districts she is well passed thier studies and many can not read in Kindergarten, which she could. The teachers are strict but awesome. Always available and welling to discuss childrens progress.

Perfect school, great advanced education and curriculum. Very good extra curricular activites also. I absolutely love what the have done with my child
