Medical & Surgical Clinic Of Irving

The office and billing departments are very poorly managed. I have secondary insurance and was not told that the office would not file secondary insurance. As I began receiving bills in the mail, I would call the billing office and they would tell me that they would file with secondary and to disregard the bill. This continued for over a year and now they are telling me that they do not file with the secondary and I will have to file. They also told me they could no longer file with secondary because date of service was over a year. Well, I can no longer file either. They also stated that they would return my call and didn't and would disconnect me when transferring me to a supervisor. I finally spoke with a supervisor who stated that they did file with the secondary. Well,, that cannot be true because secondary has ALWAYS paid the copays. Additionally, she stated that they couldn't locate the EOBs and maybe secondary insurance didn't complete them. Well, I have never not received an EOB from my secondary insurance. Now she has stated that she contacted the doctor's office, Dr. Overbeck, and that they are requiring I pay the bill. This is ridiculous!

My 6 year old grandbaby was seen on Wednesday with fever and coughing, was told it was a virus. No medicine was perscribed. Friday night going into Saturday about 2AM my grandchild started crying about an ear ache. I took her the next day (Saturday) to their after hours clinic. The nurse said wow shes not feeling better yet? I told her no she has an ear ache. The nurse perscribed her antibiotics in which their office forgot to call or order it through Walgreens. I Called the after hours nurse on call she was not able to see my granchilds chart therefore did not feel comfortable to call in the perscription. She said call Sunday and maybe they will order the antibiotics. Well needless to say they were not open on Sunday. Meanwhile my grandbaby spent the whole weekend ill and feverish missed school all week and looks like she will be missig this week as well. I had to call the doctors office on Moday morning in which I had to wait 22 minutes to even talk to someone to complain and get her medicine orered. ---- I am very upset that my 6 year old----- grandchild had to pay the price for their negligence!!!!!!

Re-schedule for 10 minutes late driving around ..

Recently I went there for the first time with my son for a pediatric apointment I had.Their building looked little confusing to me so I called them to know their exact location.Between that I got late for 10 minutes.When I reached the girl said I have to reschedule it.I was so surprised to hear that.She knew I was trying to reach her.It was really a unpleasant experience for me.I had to adjust so many things that day to keep the appointment.My hubby managed to get off to work early because of our transportstion problem.We requested the girl saying that we can wait a little if she can put me somewhere.She denied.I don't know about the doctors here but for the service I received I am not going back there. Also I didn't like the pediatrics place with no toys or playing activities for kids where most places have them to keep the kids busy while waiting.
