Kwik Kar Lube & Auto Center of Irving

My experience previously at this location was not too bad, so I sent my husband to this location to have an oil change. The Technician didn't tighten the drain plug after the oil change and when my husband returned home, the oil poured out of his truck in the driveway (fortunately, we don't live too far from this location). I called to get someone to come and fix and someone was dispatched. While he was a very courteous and helpful guy, he was the ONLY bright spot in this whole interaction (and the only reason I even added ONE star). This morning, I arrived at Kwik Kar at the time of opening to speak with the Manager, Chris. Chris never apologized, never really stopped what he was doing to speak to me, never even really made eye contact. He didn't appear to be sincere in his interaction. I even mentioned that I didn't think he was taking me seriously because he never really stopped shuffling paperwork on the desk. He seemed to not value what I had to say. He called and spoke with Terry about what to do. He did say that the Technician would be let go due to his mistake in finishing the job. I was refunded the money spent on the oil change (apparently begrudgingly because he never looked me in the eye or really said anything, just pulled the money from the cash register and set it on the counter), and never once offered an apology. He left double check of my truck to the gentleman who came to help us (the only gem in the place) and left the office to stand on the other side of the bay, ending any further interaction with me. I am certainly not finished with this story as I will continue to work my way up the chain to gain some form of insurance that if their negligence and carelessness damaged my husband's truck, they will be paying for repairs. I was looking for an explanation, an apology and sincere communication, but what I received was obviously disdain and a lack of respect for what I was saying.

They have a bad service and they don't do the job right they just charge you money for nothing and all they think about is the money and they don't do the job right the best mechanic its in Tyler or loop in the Beltline

Can't say the same as the other comments....One Redneck in particular was nice nasty. I think he thought if he handed me my credit card in hand like I did him then he would get a little Black on him!

Can't believe Tx. still does Inspections like they did back in the 70s! Another way to make money I guess.

Everyone is so friendly and they make you feel very comfortable. I think it helps when the owner is a former investigative reporter. I take all my cars here for not just oil changes but repairs and service too. Arron the manager, is super nice and so is the old guy who works there too.



It's the only Oil Change/Auto Repair shop I would send my wife and daughter to knowing they would be well taken care of.

I came here for a car inspection and i didn't have the updated insurance, they were so kind to let use their computers to lookup and print a copy. Donte helped me alot. I admire their work because they take the time out to consult each customer, nothing like I've ever seen. Will be coming back

I came to this location after an inspection station said I needed some work done because my car wouldn't pass emissions. I brought the report in with me to show the tech what the issues were and after he used his computer to confirm, he came back and said that there was nothing wrong with my car! He explained that sometimes places say something is wrong in order to make additional $$ off of someone. They were able to do my inspection with no issues!! Aaron and his team are amazing, honest people!!! THIS is where I will be taking my car from now on!
