I was a driver worked there for almost 7yrs. Worst cab company to work for in the city of Birmingham. They don't know how to treat there drivers all they expect is you to pay them. As a former yellow cab driver I wouldn't recommend driving for them. If you wanted to drive a cab I would say you need to try working for the smaller cab companies in Birmingham. They treat there drivers a whole lot better than yellow cab does.

These peopl are terrible and I can't WAIT for UBER to come to Birmingham. Weber waited well over an HOUR just to call back and get yelled at by the phone service.

worst cab service around! When the driver picked me up, he said yellow cab didnt pay anything, and asked me if i was paying cash or credit; I said credit, and he began to cuss and said he needed cash to make it, so he actuallly asked me to stop at an atm and get him some money out to help him out! I said no, and he hustled me all the way to my destinatin, which was walmart, and he actually asked me if i would go through the line and get him some money and bring out the cab. I said no, my pharmacy medicine was ready and i would be right back, that i needed a ride back home; He stated he wasnt waiting, pay him right then, so i did, and he left me at walmart, so i had to call another cab, and i reported him to yellow cab, and they should do drug tests on their drivers, I think the cabbie was on some type of drugk probaably crack, so when the supervisor called me the next day, he said the driver stated i refused to pay,which was b.s. Ive dealt with yellow cab in b'ham over 30 times, and never had a problem with them, and i always tipped the driverl So I will never use them again, and encourage everyone else to do the same

Yellow Cab of Birmingham, AL provides great taxi service. The drivers are professional and polite.

I called taxi service after taxi service and all said they couldn't pick me up at the time I needed. I got directed to yellow cab and thankfully the woman who answered was able to help me even though I had gave her the wrong zip code at first. I got a text 30 mins early saying my driver was on the way. I then received a text right on time saying he was there and sure enough he was. I enjoyed my ride to the fullest. I wish I remembered his name but cab driver 00093 was super pleasant and I will definitely be using this service for future needs :).

JUST CALLED AND POSTED SOME CABS FOR THE WEEK AND ASKED A QUESTION AND GOT HUNG UP ON.OPERATOR 103 NEEDS TO REALIZE IF PEOPLE STOP CALLING FOR CAB SERVICE THE OWNER WILL NO LONGER NEED HER SERVICES THE OWNER HIRES AND FIRES SOMETIMES FOR NO REASON AND SHE WILL BLOCK YOUR UNEMPLOYMENT SO THE OPERATORS NEED TO BE NICER TO PEOPLE BECAUSE WITHOUT CUSTOMERS THEY WOULD NOT GET A CHECK FROM THE OWNER.AFTER I GET A CAR NEVER AGAIN

I've been depending on Yellow Cab of B'ham for a pretty long time now. On NUMEROUS occasions, I've had to wait around three hours for my ride to arrive. On numerous occasions, they didn't come AT ALL. I've been spoken to in a condescending tone over the phone, I've been lied to, I've been told that my complaints and experiences to the representative, (on the phone), were not true, and I've have been blatantly hung up in my face more than twice. I've have to call more than once just to make sure that a driver was notified of my request. I've had to ride in the car while certain male drivers would have their "female friend" riding in the passenger's seat. One of the drivers tried to hoodwink me and charge $20 for a $13 dollar ride. It's been two hours since I've called Yellow Cab, and I'm currently waiting RIGHT NOW! Yellow cab should be replaced with a new company, that actually cares about customer service! They are PATHETIC. THAT IS THE TRUTH ABOUT YC, SO HELP ME GOD(!)

On more than one occasion in yellow cabs operating area I have had to wait more than 2 hours to get a ride.I would highly not recomend!

Called into Yellow Cab and was immediately serviced by a nice professional operator to take my call. A cab arrived within 20 minutes after I placed my order. The cab was clean and the driver was safe and knowledgeable about the city and what events were in town that weekend. Thanks Again!
