Hello Matthew, thanks for your feedback. I’m sorry you had the issue that most of our tenants won’t have. Usually we give each unit of the tenants a detailed cleaning checklist before they move out. We start our inspection process on the day of the move-out day, which usually takes 2-3 days. Each unit will be inspected by at least 2 of our staff. How much we will take from our tenants’ security deposit depends on the cleanness of their apartments and whether there’s any maintenance issue caused by the tenants. We also chargeback the tenants for the hours our professional cleaning crew spend cleaning the apartments. Tenants are not responsible for any problem that has already existed before they moved in. All the charges will be listed item by item in our security deposit return letter to our tenants. The letter will be sent along with the deposit check within 30 days of move-out. If the tenants disagree with the amount we return, they are welcomed to speak with our staff and we can show them the pictures we took for the apartments during inspection. Hello Payne, thanks for your feedback. We are very glad to have you as our tenant last year. I was surprised when seeing you leaving angry comments everywhere in the Internet. Our maintenance is one of the fastest among all the property management companies in this town. Sometimes we are slower than usual may be because we are temporarily short of maintenance staff during busy time. I apologize for any inconvenience we might have caused to you. Hello Joseph, sorry for getting back to you so late. We just started managing our social media recently. As a local business serving the Iowa City area for more than a decade, we would never do any dishonest thing to our tenants. I understand how angry you were when you lost money but you are not supposed to claim that we took it just without any evidence. We are really sad to see this untrue comment. I believe you are a nice person too, but please be honest when making comments.
