Nkechi African Cafe

If it's possible to give someone -5 (negative 5) star I would. OMG this is the most horrible, unprofessional, bad food/customer service restaurant I have ever experienced in my life. I am Nigerian, I have been to SEVERAL Nigerian restaurant from ATL to Texas to New York but this by far is the absolute WORSE. First if you're nigerian/African they treat you and respond to you very rudely. We called over the phone and right from the get go she was rude and hung up the phone. We called back, placed the order and got there to pick up. We waited an extra 3 Hours to pick up food we already called on the phone. Still we remained friendly and spoke the language so that she can at least get comfortable with us. The daughter later came in spoken really horrible to us and cursed us out. We didn't get our food, we paid for food we didn't get, the CUSTOMER SERVICE was horrible/terrible, they INSULTED the customers and more than 5 customer walked out, out of annoyance. IF YOU LIVE IN CALI I'M SORRY BUT THIS FOOD IS SHITTY AND HER CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. If you're from out of town DO NOT COME HERE, C OK ME OUT YOUR OWN RISK

Jollof rice : too salty, too soft
White rice : too salty
Ise ewu: OMG NEVER AGAIN too salty

This restaurant is so gross but you will not notice until you try to look into the kitchen where the food is cooked, which they will never let you. You will see roaches running around, and dead flies everywhere in their cooking pot. The worst is that this is a base for Nigerian identity theft and credit card fraudsters. Be careful, once you use your credit card to shop here you will be defrauded one way or the other. That's why they indirectly discourage you to pay in cash by, when you pay in cash and need to collect change from them, they will keep you waiting as long as 20-25 minutes for you to walk away without collecting your change or you need to wait as long as they want, in order to discourage you. For what I have seen in their kitchen it is so unhealthy to eat any food in Nkechi Cafe, LA

The best peppersoup, Nkwobi and Isiewu in town. Very friendly and clean environment. Keep it up Nkechi African Cafe. Daalu.
