Pro Tow

I only gave 1 star because 0 stars is not an option. We have free parking and permit parking - I pay for permit parking. This company towed my car from my PAID, designated spot instead of the car without a permit that was parked next to me.



Once I figured out what happened to my car, I called Indy Pro Tow and notified them they had towed my car by mistake. The man that answered the phone said the paperwork read that my car was illegally parked and towed from spot #__. I told him, that is my designated spot - I have the rental agreement AND a parking permit is hanging from my rearview mirror. The man put me on hold to check for my permit. Upon returning he said, the permit is there but he doesn't know what happened so he will have to contact the owner.



The owner refused to return my car, stating that if the permit was really there, then my car would not have been towed. How could I have planted a permit in a towed car?! And the fact that they left the illegally parked car completely alone - they never came back to tow their car. Once I got a ride to the tow yard, I showed my rental agreement to the owner and asked her to go outside to check for my parking permit. She still refused to release my car but said she would discount the ticket by $25 on "good faith that I was telling the truth." I had to call my building and have them confirm my parking permit and she STILL would not release my car until the ticket was paid. My building manager finally told me to pay the bill and they would reimburse me for the mix up.



I hope Indy Pro Tow goes out of business because they are not even attempting to provide adequate service to people. Not to mention the manager/owner is an awful woman devoid of any logic or decency.
