**LIke another reviewer here, my Yelp review was also removed. Unprofessional on the phone and borderline hostile/angry at my questions. I read many questionable reviews online about Panache, so I called (hoping to find out that they were outliers) before I redeemed my groupon. I'm a special education teacher, I have patience and I'm very calm. I wanted to know if the massage therapists were licensed. He avoided answering, but I kept asking. He then (still not verifying if they were) got angry and told me he wasn't going to give out names or license numbers. He still would not verify if they were actually LMT's. He told me I could only ask them myself at my appointment and then said they have a license. He told me people don't leave good reviews only bad ones. *search yelp for massage therapy and see all the good reviews people leave*. He then told me to not bother coming in and that I should ask groupon for a refund. He also told me a $39 gratuity would be charged, I asked if it was mandatory and he waffled, eventually saying no, but later in the conversation he said it was mandatory and that's the only reason people leave bad reviews. The man on the phone was rude, unprofessional, and argumentative. Beware.

Rip off!!

I wish I would have read the reviews on this place before I purchased the couples massage Groupon. We had the same aweful experience as most. Our groupon was supposed to include a 60 min massage, 30 min hydrotherapy, and hors d'oeuvres.

We arrived at 10:00. Had to fill out paperwork then waited at least another 5-10 min before we changed into our robes. I had to actually go get someone after changing because we waited what seemed like a really long time. The hot tub was ok. The temp was luke warm and the chlorine burned my eyes. She gave us some story about how it hadn't had a chance to warm up yet because it was early. The "hors d'oeuvres" were some cut up pineapple and sliced strawberries served with two Dixie cups of water.

The massage was just ok. More like rubbing with no real technique.

When we got up from the massage table my husband looked at the clock and it was only 11:24. With all the waiting there is no way it should have been 11:24

On our way out the front desk told us we owed gratuity. I told her we left the tip in the room. She sent the other lady back to get it. We left $20 and she said we "owed" them $40 (20%) and that it said it in the Groupon. I tried to explain to her that her tip reflected our experience and that by definition the amount of tip was up to the customer base on the level of service received. She pointed to the sentence on the Gropon that said a 24 hour cancellation was required. I pointed out to her that the word "required" was in reference to the cancellation policy...not the 20% gratuity. Unfortunately by that time my husband had already given her another $20. They are definitely hustlers!!

Do not waste your time or money!!

My boyfriend was sweet and bought us a Groupon for a 60 minute couples massage with 30 minute hydrotherapy and hor'devours. The hydrotherapy was sitting in a hot tub for 30 minutes, which wasn't bad. They consider hor'devours to be 2-3 slices strawberries and a glass of water! LOL!! It gets better...the "massage therapists" came in and when my boyfriend told them he had a herniated disc at his L4, his "therapist" asked where that was. Not to mention the man who did my massage did more damage than good. He had no idea what he was doing in the massage process and got way to close for comfort on my upper thigh when massaging my legs. I couldn't even relax after that. I would say it is extremely safe to assume they do not have licensed massage therapists here. Isn't that illegal? Regardless, don't waste your money on this joke of a day spa. I definitely plan on contacting the better business bureau.

Oh and BTW...Penache had my review removed from Yelp...so that should tell you right there how shady they are!!!

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO!! they are very unprofessional. My husband and I did the couples massage. We went in there and waited at the front desk for about 10 minutes and then finally someone came to check us in. Our appt was for 6:00 finally at 6:30 they take us to the back. We do the hydrotherapy then we go back for the massage. This man (don't know his name because they never introduced themselves to us) "massages" me which was more like rubbing than massaging. As Carole L. mentioned he made me very uncomfortable rubbing me in areas that were not appropriate, like my breasts and buttocks. The next day I called and complained and asked for a refund. The man admitted he didn't have his license and refused to give me his name. Then I speak with the owner and she says she will think about giving me a refund and refuses to give me her name and then disconnects the call. We will never go back and have reported this to the bbb and the police.
