Chiropractic is the art and science of detecting subluxations and then removing them with a specific adjustment. Subluxation
Chiropractic is the scientifically based analysis of the human structure and the restoration of health and maximum function through facilitating the nervous system. The central nervous system is housed inside of bony structures: the skull and the spine. All those joints move every day when we breathe as well as when we do our daily activities. Since the joints move all the time, they can become stressed and then lose their proper function. If a Doctor of Chiropractic detects a misaligned joint, it is called a subluxation. Subluxations are the lack of proper function of a joint. The common effects of a subluxation are pain, abnormal sensations, degeneration, muscle tightness or spasm and abnormal motion.
Manipulation Therapy
