I called to get information on donations because the website was down, I got put on hold for 30 minutes, not exaggerating, and then the phone hung up. I called back and as soon as they answer they say hold, I responded with "actually I've been on hold for 30 minutes and got hung up on. The lady said "well I hafta put you back on hold" with and awful attitude! I've been in once before the only reason there is two stars on facility is because they have a place for kids to be watched while parents donate. Reading all these reviews makes me wonder how they are still open.

I have donated for about 2 years; today I went in for a routine donation and was treated very poorly by a staff member named Trevon. Once I was done with vitals and finger prick; I was seated in his section. Trevon then assisted other donors on and off the machine while neglecting to get me situated after about 25 minutes on the bed, I got frustrated and left. So I will not be returning to Biolofe to donate in the future.

I give them no stars. The reason is because my fiance stepped outside to give me the hotel room key and then walked back inside to donate and they turned him away. Sorry and excuse him for thinking about me not having to walk across the parking lot in the chilly air and possibly catch a cold and not be able to work. I'm so sorry that kindness goes against policy. F... them

Want to share a experience that happened to me.i went for my routine donation today & it was a disaster. The first tech successfully started needle in my right, 3/4 of the way into donation for some reason my vein stopped giving, a second tech came to do a needle adjustment to try & complete the donation, however it didn't work. A third tech came & decided to switch arms, so she successfully inserted needle & had it flowing, then she decided to readjust a piece of tape on my arm, she grabbed the tape and jerked it off pulling needle out of my arm, blood going everywhere, then disconnected the running line to machine. Now she tells me we can't complete the donation and I have to be on a 8 wk block because she couldn't do the final blood return resulting in a substantial blood loss for me.Then I had to go see the nurse, she ask if I understood what happened, that the tech reported that there was a link in the line & the pressure forced the needle out. I told her that was not true & not @ all what happened, her response was , well I can only go on the info I was given. I demanded to speak to the management, I shared with him what had happened, that due to his staffs failure now I have to lose out on 2 months donations equal to almost $500,his response was that gov rules mandated the decision of not being able to donate for 8 wks after a blood loss such as mine & that he had no control over that. I pointed out that he does have control over his staff , and she should be held responsible for my loss & taken off the floor for retraining, he stated that they would talk to her, but I still would not be compensated, he said that this money was bonus money & I should not count on it as income. Needless to say I was upset, I left and 5 mins later I called him back and ask for the techs name that messed me up, he said he couldn't give me that info.I pointed out that they all have name tags on, that I was so upset I didn't notice her name, I said if she can stick a needle in my arm then I should be able to have her name, again he refused. I ask to speak to his center director, of course he wasn't avail, so I left my name & # and he would call me back. Surprisingly he called me, gave me the same story, owned none of the responsibility & basically said too bad, things happen. So if you go there pay close attention to staff names because they become real jerks when they get called out on their mistakes. I won't be back!!

Worth It

My experince with Biolife has been a bit frustrating, but I regularly go to donate. They seem to ALWAYS been running behind and I've found that about half of their staff is at times unprofessional. They talk about things with eachother and with me that I find personal and should be left for after work. They seem to be a bit unorganized and I dealt with employers making a few mistakes while getting me into their system. Because of miscommunication I sat for 45 minutes my first time before being told I didn't have the required information to donate...although I brought what I was told to bring. When I went back I was there for an hour and 25 minutes before being told I couldn't donate due to a high pulse...which of course isn't their fault..but they need to test those things at the beginning so people don't sit there forever for nothing. My third time went a bit more smoothly. During my physical the nurse got up and left 3 times and complained repeatedly that no one else was answering the walkie talkie calls so she had to do it. After all of that I finally was able to donate. That process went very smoothly (except for a couple of the employees talking about getting drunk that weekend). I think they need to clean up their talk and get their check-in process more finely tuned but its worth all the frustration to help save lifes. Hopefully you're experience will be smoother!
