Medical Weight Loss
The ICFP Wellness Program was an easy plan for me to follow. The best part of this program was that I was still able to eat foods that I normally would, but with portion control. It also introduced me to eating more vegetables, fruits, and nuts than I previously had been, and taught me how to substitute healthier food choices instead of the high-carb foods I was eating. I have lost 25 pounds since November of 2018. My average weight loss has been approximately 2 pounds per week. At first, I concentrated on the diet and did not exercise. Beginning in January of 2019, I regularly use a recumbent bike, five days a week for a half hour per session. Since I’ve started the program, with the shakes, pills, and weight loss, I have noticed that my joint pain has diminished, my energy has increased, and I can’t wait for spring so that I can start working outside again.
