This lawyer charged my $3800 to show up in court once and act completely unprofessional,and get nothing done for me. He then stuck me with a $1600 bill that I will never pay thats ruined my credit. The man is a thief. He put me on hold 15 minutes and got back on the phone and said damn telemarketers all the while charging me his $100 a minute or whatever crazy amount he charges...and seriously $70 a email?!? How do you sleep at night? He talked about a case with another lawyer right in front of me and said the verdict was already decided and his client wasnt going to like it before it even entered the courtroom. I'm not a lawyer but that sounds pretty illegal. This man should be disbarred. This is the lawyer that every lawyer joke was made about. Save yourself some pain and do some research on whatever lawyer you decide to go with, but avoid this one at all costs!

OK, so not everyone is in love with his or her attorney 100% of the time. Ones expectations can easily exceed reality when he or she is backed into a legal corner with few options to "get off the hook". There are many ways to maneuver through the legal system if you are totally upfront and honest in your dealings with your legal counsel. Look, attorneys have one commodity to sell and that is their time and expertise. So expect to pay for it! How many times has your physician not cured whatever was ailing you? Did you start writing bad reviews, calling the State Board of Medicine, badmouthing him to your neighborhood, whining and complaining to anyone who will listen? Of course not. So if you've been totally honest, forthright and upfront with your attorney, holding nothing back, you've understood the fees being charged, yet the outcome was not what you wanted, you accept that outcome and go on your way. If, at any time, you feel you should make a change, make it, just like you would with any provider of other services or products you've engaged, like your mechanic, plumber, dentist, yard guy, physician, druggist, etc. Just remember, these providers can please some of their clients all the time and all of their clients some of the time, but they can never please ALL of their clients ALL of the time. So get over it!

Mr. Whittington recently helped us recover damages from an auto insurance company when they refused to pay for injuries resulting from an accident. We were impressed with how he handled the case and defended our position. Insurance companies are notorious for treating accident victims as if they are just waiting for a chance to unjustifiably seek compensation. It was nice to have an attorney who believed us and did all he could to help us while still charging a fair price.

I was very encouraged with kent. I thought finally we had found an attorney who would fight with for my son so we could end a ridiculous custody issue about my gradaughter. He seemed so careing, smart and dedicated. He charges 250.00 an hour ,and that means if he is learning a new computer system, can't find your file, does't have a secretary you get billed. We had given more than 12k in less than a year .Even though fairly regular, substantial payments were being made his attitude did a 180 when we couldn't keep up with 600.00 a day bill or better. He may do great if you have deep pockets. But don't owe him money.
