Founded in 1983, the Progressive Life Center is a nonprofit organization that serves children and youths. The center offers therapeutic and traditional foster care programs. It provides services through social workers, clinical therapists, family advocates, consulting psychiatrists and clinical supervisors. The Progressive Life Center offers counseling services individuals, groups and families. The center provides care and support services for the victims of neglect, abuse and traumatic conditions. It also offers assistance with the development of behavioral, emotional and social skills. The Progressive Life Center provides psychiatric consultation, respite care and 24-hour crisis intervention programs. In addition, the center offers parenting education and community outreach services. It is accredited by the Council on Accreditation.
