Carmine's Pizza & Pasta

We finally found real NY pizza. I'm hooked. I don't mind driving the extra distance to get a delicious pizza.

Perhaps the largest, TRUEST Brooklyn style pizza slices I've ever seen... This quaint restaurant is not much on the eyes, but will satisfy your taste buds! Hidden in the corner of the Commons in Hutto, Carmine's is what I call an "accidental find". The service is not fantastic by any means, but it is, after all, a small-town, local joint. Not the most comfortable, but Carmine tries to please with true Italian melodies floating from the speakers. He himself is indeed a true Italian (what gave THAT away?), a transplant from Little Italy, NY. I highly recommend visiting, it's a great family restaurant, especially with young kids. Not much of a romantic place - ironically, though it is an Italian restaurant... Maybe Carmine will get there someday if we bring him more business! :0)
