Simple Movers

Do not use this company to move a dog house, much less a complete house. We moved from St Louis and our "professional" movers came an hour late, with no dolly, and no tools to dismantle furniture. I was told by Josh in the home office it would take another 1-2 hours for the "professional" to pick one up somewhere, so we let them use ours. After 4 hours of them loading and leaving a lot of furniture in the yard and the house, they were dismissed and the 2nd set of "professionals" came to unload and reload to get more furniture in the truck. Both sets of "professionals" scratched and dented the hardwood floor. Our furniture was scratched, dented and lost and the compensation was $180 - which wouldn't even replace the lost coffee table. This nightmare of a move was 9 hours long and anything but "simple" as their website states. This company should not have a good rating.....1 star is too many. I asked for compensation for the extra time it took and the headache and we were credited for the use of our dolly and tools - $150. Stay away from Simple Movers, Hurst TX....it is not a "simple move" as they would like you to think it would be
