        Northeast Eye Center was founded in March of 2004 by Dr. Michelle L. Martinez. Dr. Martinez leased space from Sears at North East Mall until she purchased a building and relocated her practice in October of 2015 to 900 W. Pipeline Rd in Hurst. Dr. Martinez is a graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry. She graduated with Honors in 2002. Her undergraduate work was completed at the University of Notre Dame where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1995. Dr. Martinez is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and a member of the Tarrant County Optometric Society. Dr. Martinez is licensed by the Texas Board of Optometry as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist.

        Dr. Martinez was very professional and spent time explaining everything I wanted to know and more. All the staff were professional and courteous. They were also very prompt. Thank you for the excellent service!

        I traveled from Plano to see Dr. Martinez. I am so glad I made the trek despite the distance.

        Dr. Martinez was patient with both me and my teen daughter.

        She took time in making sure she asked about our past eye exams and ensure we were seeing properly with the sample contact lenses she provided even after we left the office.

        Her optician, Manuel, spent over 3 hours with my daughter in finding the right frames to fit not only her face but her PERSONALITY! We purchased two different sets of eyeglasses to give her options throughout the week. In all the years I have had to purchase glasses for my daughter, she has never received the amount of attention that Manuel provided for my daughter during her frame selection.

        As for me, Manuel suggested a frame for my face - VERSACE - which looked WONDERFUL. I couldn't be happier. He was just as patient and helpful with me, calling when our orders were ready and giving us 5 STAR SERVICE.

        I plan on making the trip every year.
