My kids have thrived attending class at this dojo. I cannot say enough about the quality of instruction provided each week. The instructors earn the respect of each student and in turn teach the student how to earn respect in the real world.

My son has been going here since Sept 2014, he was three when he started and is four now. We couldn't be happier with the results we are seeing! Not only is he learning the useful and beautiful skill of karate, he has become a much better listener in general. We see a huge improvement in how well he focuses on a task! He says yes ma'am and yes sir automatically now (most of the time, lol), and he is developing a healthy drive to compete and succeed. Maybe most importantly, he has learned how to fail with grace, and to always keep trying and working towards his goals.



The youth instructors are excellent, they have an amazing amount of patience and skill with the kids. Master Burleson is always circulating, greeting families and students...when he's not teaching class, that is. This is a family dojo, with lots of extra-curricular activities such as the Bully-Proof Seminar, Buddy Week, exhibition events, etc. Master Burleson is highly involved in our community, as well.



The adult classes look challenging and structured. I am seriously considering signing up myself! We highly recommend this dojo, it is a prime example of a small business that benefits the entire community.

Legends Martial Arts delivers the authentic essence spirit of Martial Arts, and is a refuge this day when our kids are constantly barraged by the all-pervasive 'noise' of materialism, countless mental pollutants and 'mixed signals.' Virtue reigns supreme and is given the primary seat it deserves. The whole environment teems with positive vibes and Master Burleson radiates an amazing energy and charisma. The effect is students learn in a very fun, unique and inspiring way. All of the instructors are extremely skilled and patient, they are amazing really. My child is developing a plethora of invaluable life skills— how to work with the body and its energies, self-confidence, public speaking— so many benefits too many to name. I truly believe it will bear fruit for my child's future happiness and for this I thank all the instructors from the bottom of my heart! Legends embodies the purity and wisdom of these ancient and profound practices and anyone can benefit from this — you should visit this school, only good will come out of it.

My 4 y.o. daughter has been with Legends Martial Arts for 7mos. now, and we like it. The instructors are very friendly and they have a tremendous amount of patience. They teach the students how to defend themselves and at the same time, they are having a blast. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Fantastic activity for kids. My four yearold absolutely loves karate practice. They have a very friendly staff and the scheduling makes it really easy to attend since they offer 5 classes a week in the group you sign up for. The business is always clean and safe, I don't think I could ask for more. No regrets signing up, my kiddo loves it!

This is a GREAT place to go for martial arts. My daughter started at age 11 and just loved it. In fact, she cried one day when she couldn't make it. The instructors are positive, professional and know their stuff. The standards are high and the school puts a great deal of emphasis on character and self-discipline (validated by parents and teachers) in order for a child to move up to the next belt. My daughter took it very seriously and was immediately saying, "yes ma'am" and "yes sir". We are very happy we ended up here!

My son has been taking classes for 2 years and he loves it. Chance gave a free self defense class for women and I attended. After that I signed up for karate. It's only been a few weeks but it's a wonderful experience. Thanks to Chance and all the other instructors!

Didn't start there until I was 65 years old. I was able to make it to blue when I had to quit for health reasons. Did however get my grandson involved and he is now a purple belt. I would recommend them to anyone young or old. There are some of the best teachers in the state.

Legends has been the best thing that has ever happened to me and my family. All 4 of us train here and love every minute of it. Kids and adults learn respect, discipline, and confidence. The instructors are extremely knowledgable and friendly. Master Burleson and Mister Goodson ROCK!

Great for kids and adults! My 6 year old starting taking classes in Grapevine when he was 4. The instructors are great with the kids. They teach them discipline, respect and skills, all while having fun. I've seen such a big difference in my son's attitude and behavior since we started. He had so much fun that I took a class, too! (He loves that he outranks me.) It helped me bust through the plateau I had reached in my weight loss efforts. It was tough, but I loved it.

This place is perfect for our 7 year old who has been working his way through the belts for at least the last year and a half. We drive all the way from the Northeast side of Euless to come to Legends in Bedford, passing many other dojos on the way.



The instructors are kind but firm, and provide a safe and clean environment for our son to learn respect, trust, and discpline somewhere other than home. They are all very good with children, showing by example how to be an upstanding citizen, friend, community helper.



He's learning valuable lessons for his own physical and emotional growth, and we would never dream of taking him anywhere but here all the way through to his black belt.

One of the things that I like the most about Legends Martial Arts is the values that they stress at each class. Values such as self respect, respect for others, honesty, discipline, courage, patience, generosity, gratitude, perseverance, and responsibility are reinforced. My daughter loves it more than dance! I can't say enough about it and would recommend Legends Martial Arts to every parent.

I brought my son here after experiencing some bullying issues at school hoping to give him confidence and a sense of accomplishment. The teachers are efficient and knowledgeable, kind and encouraging. I have seen marked difference in how my son handles himself and adversity since coming here.
