Do a google search and check out a WFAA new story about DDS Joseph Bonola being arrested for indecency with a child (14 year old girl). The news story is from 12 April 2007 and states that "Watauga Police say their phones have been lighting up since the arrest of Dr. Joseph Bonola".

I only checked this quacks background after my first, only, and last visit to the Next Century Dental Clinic in Watauga, Texas. After two plus hours of waiting, sitting, x-rays, multiple technicians, and two different dentist...I finally got out of the chair, took off my bib and walked out. After observing how screwed up their operation was I decided I would NOT let them work on my teeth. I went to a different dentist two days later and was SHOCKED that I didn't need a root canal or any of the $2,500 worth of procedures that this idiot wanted to do. I had a simple cavity that required minimal filling. DO NOT LET THIS GUY TOUCH YOUR FAMILY!

This location and Dr. Joseph Bonola is unprofessional. Well before he was arrested for fondling a child, I had a different experience with him and his inexpereinced staff (dentists with less than 3 years of expereince). He came in the room where I was along with his staff...just people in general (so no privacy folks)telling me my issue was indiciative of young "black" girls, but I was an "old gal." I was 33 at the time (I guess too old for him to mess with or maybe not the right ethnicity. Who knows). This man even went so far as to release my medical records without my permission due to a complaint I made with the BBB...something they later had to apologize for and likely was fined heavily for. And all this was AFTER they refused to release my records (or lack thereof) to me. This place (Watauga Location and Keller where my husband went) will charge for work never performed that my double insurance coverage paid. I am still arguing with my insurance company about that. While those who want to deal with him deal with him. I am paying another dentist to do the work his newbies almost destroyed. Imagine my not being suprised at his arrest.
