She is excited to bring her knowledge to Medical Associates P.C., where she treats a wide array of common and specialized medical conditions. Dr. Tufaro conducts her appointments with the personalized care and attention that she would expect for her own family. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Tufaro received her medical degree from the Università degli Studi di Roma 'La Sapienza' Facoltà di Medicina e Psicologia. Furthermore, she completed dual residencies in family medicine, one at North Shore University Hospital and the other at Mid-Hudson Family Health Institute. She also holds an active membership in the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Tufaro’s philosophy of patient care is based on compassion, efficacy, and teamwork.
