I recently took my six years old for the first time. I was so impressed, I brought my daughter for her first exam the very next week. I am very picky when it comes to healthcare, as i'm sure all parents are. The waiting room is designed to keep kids entertained while waiting. The entire staff works hard to make kids feel comfortable and put anxious parents at ease....like me. We saw Dr. Dinkes, and he is awesome. Friendly with kids, sense of humor, and knowledgeable. I am very happy with this practice.

This practice is good you will see a lot of good and great reviews about it. Your kids will probably like it and be happy but that's not all. They have zero relationship with parents and treat you poorly. Seems to me that it is all money driven as opposed to patient care. There are better practices available.

My 3 year old daughter had her first dental appointment 2 weeks ago with Dr Dinkes. When I brought her in, she was nervous a bit- to say the least - but I hoped that she would end up leaving feeling like it was not so scary after all.
Of course, in order for that to happen, one would need a doctor who is able to connect with a young child and who would be willing to take more than just 5-7 minutes with a patient.
Sadly, when Dr Dinkes came in and saw my daughter was clinging to me, he quickly and very firmly told her that she needed to go in the chair. My daughter ended up forced in there with Dr Dinkes trying to force her mouth open. This is while she is fighting and trying to scream.
After my initial shock, I had to step in and say that I wanted to pick her up to calm her down. When that happened, and I offered to put her back in the chair, Dr Dinkes told me it was okay, he looked and saw no cavities.
Frankly, I have no idea how because he was not very successful in forcing her mouth wide enought to look (in my opinion) .
At this point, you probably can understand why it made me feel like he does not even care. He just wanted the visit to be over - I guess.
I understand that doctors have a busy schedule to keep but I still feel like a first-time dental patient - who is 3 and happens to be scared- would deserve a little bit more time, considering that the first visit will probably have an impact on how she ends up relating to dental visits in the future.
Dr Dinkes never tried to connect with her and make friends with her at all.
I am very dissappointed.
In fairness to the practice though, we saw Dr Cerqueira with my younger daughter and she could not have been any nicer.
Still not sure if I will stay with the practice or not. If so, we will probably stick with Dr Cerqueira.

When I took my 18-month-old son for his first dentist appointment, the experience could not have been better. The atmosphere is everything a kid could want: video games, cars, games, movies ... everything and anything that will set a child at ease in a new setting in which people will be examining his or her teeth for the first time. Dr. Dinkes and his staff were patient, gentle, understanding and accommodating.

It is a pleasure to bring my kids to the dentist. The office is bright and cheerful with TVs that they can watch while they are in the chairs. The staff are friendly, warm and professional. The dental care is top notch! There are prizes and "goodie bags" for the kids when they leave. Going to the dentist is not something we dread, it's something we enjoy. It is really a pleasant experience for everyone.

From the video games in the waiting room to the videos at each kid-sized chair to the caring staff, this is the place to bring your kids for dentistry and orthodontics. Seriously, my kids look forward to their appointments. I wish something like this was available when I was a kid. The doctors are so thoughtful, taking the time needed for each procedure - making it easier on both child and parent. I could even sit with my child and hold her hand.
I read another review here with a complaint about pricing. I have not experienced anything like that - so take that review with a grain of salt.
Just visit them to see their office and the super nice people who work there. I'm sure, you will be as happy as happy with Commerce Park as I am..

I took my child to this doctor after a previous terrible experience elsewhere. They are very nice but waaaay to expensive. They were unwilling to treat my child without me paying up front for everything.
