Journey Church

I’ve had problems when visiting new churches where nobody reached out to me . That was far from my experience here. People reached out to me from every where. From the parking attendants to the pastors wife reached out to me. I’m fact the pastors wife asked me to sit with her. A man in the lobby spoke with me and mentioned running a group for people with PTSD and I have an issue with it. I felt like people there were led by God and they seemed genuinely happy. What a breath of fresh air. They also have services on utube! Great church for anyone and safe place for people wounded by other churches.

What a warm and welcoming experience! New in town I had tried several local churches, all fine in their own way, but walking through the doors at Journey felt totally different. Members as well as staff both reached out to help me find my way and to make sure any questions were answered. The praise and worship time was fresh and energized and the message was relevant and well delivered. I like the way that they have children's classes broken down and it seems to be creative in getting children engaged in learning and not just keeping them occupied. I would recommend this church to anyone who is seeking a modern approach to applicable bible teaching without being watered down by political correctness. The respectful though casual air and attire makes it comfortable for people to "come as they are", and that is nice too! I'm going back today for the Easter services!
