Dr. Ashley Tapscott is an established expert in the field of sexual dysfunction. She is a board certified urologist and fellowship trained in male and female sexual dysfunction. Along with her work in general urology, Dr. Tapscott’s subspecialty interests have been nationally recognized at many urologic and sexual medicine society meetings. She is also an active educator. She frequently hosts patient education seminars and lectures to urologists and primary care physicians concerning the treatment of erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease and other sexual and urologic conditions. Dr. Tapscott was graduated from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007. She completed her internship in Philadelphia and a urology residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Dr. Tapscott then pursued additional subspecialty training by completing a fellowship in male and female sexual dysfunction, urologic prosthetics, and infertility at Cleveland Clinic. She joined Carolina Urology Partners, Lake Norman division, in 2013. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America. She is also an active member of The American Urological Association, American Society of Women in Urology and International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. Through her expertise as well as her thoughtful practice of exhibiting respect and compassion, Dr. Tapscott is pleased to offer patient-to-patient educator programs. These are patients (and their partners) diagnosed with sexual dysfunction and successfully treated by Dr. Tapscott, who are willing to share their stories and experiences with others in returning to their full potential.
