Loved living in Royal Valley MHP. The office staff is amazing. Maintenance really keeps the park
looking so nice and issues are fixed in a timely manner. I highly recommend Royal Valley MHP.
Good place to raise a family.

Wonderful Place to Live

We love Royal Valley Mobile Home Park. The management is awesome and if there is a maintenanceissue it is taken care of immediately. We loved our stay there and would recommend it to all our friends. You are close to Camp Lejeune and the back gate. So if you work on Lejeune you do not have to fight the traffic coming or going. Swansboro is only just a few miles away and is a great place to explore and it has alot of wonderful restaurants. Once again, Sandra Morgan, the Manager is very willing to help you out and is eager to assist you.

Looks can be deceiving...

I lived here just long enough to be sick of it. Property Manager is not worth a damn. She will say one thing, then a couple weeks later when nothing is done she will give you a different answer and still not fix the problem. She made us call the maintenance man ourselves, which was fine, except he's just as bad. He can't give you 10 minutes of his time, even though we wait weeks at a time. Just a couple of quick fixer uppers and a month later my husband got fed up and fixed the problems himself. There are couple of noisy neighbors towards the back of the park. Doesn't seem bad until its 11 pm and everything they do or yell can be heard all over. Apparently others are bothered by this noise too. I have seen cops come in and out and the noise just gets louder as if they are getting a rise out of ticking people off in the middle of the night. Other things that seem minor until you move in. There are no trees. It seems so petty but wait until the heat of the summer or the crazy wind. Nothing for shade or block the wind or noise. So, a yard umbrella is out of the question...unless you don't mind buying one every month when it breaks or blows away. And if you want to have your windows open, unless you don't mind everyone hearing your conversations, keep your voice very low...EVERYTHING echos. The playground is basic and minimal, only swings and merry go rounds. There is a nicer playground down the road though. The other neighbors pretty much keep to themselves. Yard decor is kept to a minimum. I like to sit out in the front with my plants and husband and just talk...and didn't do that at all when I lived there. Plants were kept inside and I didn't want the neighbors to hear mine and my husbands conversations. Also, something about not having a patio and having bugs crawling on your legs and up your chairs from the long grass was not something I liked. Pretty much, if its is just you and you're not looking to mingle with neighbors, just work, come home, go out with your friends...or its just you and your significant other (ie military and spouses waiting for housing) and you won't be there long, then this is ok. If you are planning to be there any longer or for an indefinite amount of time...look for something a little more neighborhood-ish. I would not recommend this park for any extended amount of time.Good luck on your home hunting!

Great Place

I live there for a little over a year and it was the most quiet place I have lived at. everyone minds their own business and does their own thing. The only thing was since we lived close to the road, the cars were loud, the walls are very thin
