The Abbey At Westminster Plaza

This was the biggest mistake we as a family of a mother with Alzheimer made. The Abbey at Westminster plaza is a managerial mess and abusive to residents. They are way under staffed and most of the staff attending to residents have hard to understand accents.. not helpful for Alzheimer's residents. We had to put video cam in the room. My mother was abused by night staff and traumatized leaving her afraid of the staff. Room left dirty and bed unmade and mother left for hrs. unattended and afraid. We had to get help outside the Abbey to properly care for my mother. The Abbey at Westminster was misleading in claims of being a Memory care unit, only having an eight hour training in Alzheimer's care. They also put her on anti-psychotic without telling us. I would never send a loved one to The Abbey at Westminster
