Salon Picaso Studios

I have been going to Salon Picasso for a year now. Shelly the owner is really nice. When I come in the atmosphere is nice, and prompt. Stephanie is my stylist, she is really sweet and she gets the job done.

So i went to go get my hair done here on thursday july 19th and it was the most horrible experience i have ever had at a salon..

When i walked in i saw a well decorated place with friendly experienced looking stylists...boy was i wrong



After walking into what would become a nightmare later, i had to wait for some time and was told to go put on a robe.

I decided to wait and explain to my stylist what i wanted beforehand so i was sure she was capable of doing what i wanted. After she was done on her computer my soon to be hair murderer, aka Katie came over to talk to me about what i wanted...

Let me just say before i continue this horror story that my hair was Brown, long, and had never been chemically processed at this point because i wanted to wait until i found the right place to get it done at so i wouldnt end up looking like a hot-mess when someone unexperienced touched my locks. After doing some research i found salon Picasso had great reviews and was close to home, but i dont know if the people who put these reviews online are real or not at this point.

I mean come on i got charged 100 dollars for a hair color a kindergardener could have done better.. Anyways back to the story..



Katie asked what i wanted and i showed her a picture YES! A PICTURE of what i wanted i didnt just walk in and describe what i wanted NO! I had a PICTURE and i told her i wanted the SAME !

as the picture.. But Katie of course being a "specialist" said that she couldnt do that because my hair was too dark.

What i wanted was blonde in the front and underback of my hair and then a pretty brown on the back parts it is an amazing color/style dúo and its hard to describe you have to have a visual to understand hence the reason i brought in the victorias secret swimsuit catalogue

were they had pictures of the models hair..

Kary said that it would be better to try to Match the colors to my skin type? And that she could do caramel colors instead of blonde because she said that if she did blonde my hair would burn off ( i wanted to burn it off when she was done..)

I asked her to do the same as the picture again and i told her i didnt care if there was damage she agreed but told me she would do an OMBRE?!?!!?? Does this woman know what a freaking OMBRE is? I WASNT asking for an OMBRE and the picture wasnt of a freaking OMBRE.. So where did she get the idea that i wanted a dark Brown faded to vomit yellow OMBRE color WHERE!?!? It was blonde And Brown it was simple but i dont know what she did but i looked HORRIBLE..

I wanted to cry when i saw the "final look" the sad part is that it didnt even look like and OMBRE it looked like i had tríed to dye my hair a weird Orange color with a drugstore in a box revlon haircolor..



I paid the money and when i complained to the owner She said Katie had done the best she could without damaging my hair..Wtf ? 100 dollars to ruin my image ?



After this i whent to a different salon where my Mom got her hair done calles granteld where the lady felt so bad for me that she fixed it And charged me

Really little but she was AMAZING she fixed my hair took off all the crap Katie had horribly done and i walked out of there with my hair looking exactly like what i wanted THANK GOD FOR GRANTELD !!! And i AM just posting this to warn any other girl to stay AS FAR AWAY FROM PICRAPPIO STUDIOS AS POSSIBLE THEY WILL RUIN YOUR HAIR but worst part is that they will act like the did a great Job

So I am terrible and have been meaning. To write this review for a few weeks now! My hair stylist is Donna and I absolutely love her! I trust her with my life! I am fair skinned and went from blonde to burgundy red! I get complements everyday on how great the color looks! People ask me all the time if its my natural hair color!!! Shelly is amazing too! They take their job seriously but make you laugh and smile EVERYTIME you come in!!! Salon Picasso it's for sure my favorite salon. They are not overpriced and not out to just get money. They work to make people look fabulous!!

I recently went to Salon Picaso. I saw good reviews online so I thought I d check it out. From the beginning, everyone was nice and VERY knowledgeable. I had black hair and wanted to go blonde. Before coming here I had a color specialist refuse to do my hair because it wouldn t be possible. We ll, I sat down in Katie s chair and she did my hair. Needless to say I can NOT stop looking in the mirror. She did an AMAZING job!! MY hair is blonde with amazing highlights. Everyone in the salon was so nice and friendly. I will never go anywhere else again. If you need color, cut, style or anything go to this Salon. I promise you wont regret it!

I can trust Suzy with my eyes closed. She's a great person, and she really knows how to make you look good. Everytime she cuts my hair, I'm very happy with the results and the price is reasonable. Thanks Suzy!!

Moved into the neighborhood needing a stylist. Stopped in one day and the set me up with Deb. Now my hair is VERY difficult to cut, but it did not take Deb long to get it right! I have never had a BAD cut from her and her color jobs are to dye for! (pun intended) I get compliments from strangers for my cut/color/highlights and have Deb to thank for it! If you are looking for a salon that will make you feel comfortable, do a great job on your hair, then this is THE place. I watch the other stylists and they all seem to do a great job on their clients! Pricing is right in the ballpark unless you are used to "Best Cuts", then they are out of your league.
