As a former New Orleanian, I can vouch for this one!

After moving from New Orleans to Houston, I finally felt like I was "home" when I dropped by this eatery. The gumbo, the po-boys, the platters, the boiled crawfish -- all of it tastes like the food I grew up eating and loving. Plus, the decor and amenities, like the sports memorabilia from the Saints, LSU Tigers and other Louisiana teams, and yearbooks from my alma mater (a small community college) just add to the ambiance. I dine here several times a month and still look forward to every visit.

Ragin' Cajun is a restaurant built from the original concept that introduced the Cajun flavor to Texas. Our beginnings started with serving Po-Boys and hosting crawfish boils in the parking lot since 1974. Throughout the 1980s and '90s, Ragin' Cajun gained a reputation for having high-quality Cajun Cuisine and the best Boiled Crawfish in the city. Customers have been known to drive 100 plus miles to enjoy the exceptional taste of our spicy seafood and crawfish. We have a great selection of Oyster bar specialties.
