HE has also initiated major first amendment litigation aimed AT protecting fundamental political rights of speech and ASSOCIATION. JERAD has served AS lead counsel in the united states court of appeals for the fifth circuit. AS well AS in federal and state trial courts in various texas jurisdictions. Jerad also serves AS of counsel in McCutcheon V. FEC, a constitutional challenge to federal limits on aggregate political contributions. Jerad was part of the three person legal team that initiated the McCutcheon case. Which was litigated before a special three judge panel in the U. S. District court for the district of columbia.
