I drive from Baytown to Moellers which is a 36 mile trip one way for all my birthday cakes...and special occasions...

VERY DRY... I MEAN VERY VERY DRY

My employer orders cakes from this bakery for each employee's birthday... In my opinion they are very dry and almost impossible to eat, much less enjoy. the whole cake just crumbles into pieces. It is dry, and I have had much better cakes... heck even kroger makes better cakes. Just my opinion.

finally found a bakery as good as Steins bakery in Dallas. It's the best there is in Texas. Have used stein's and now my kids use steins for 25 years. Moellers ranks as good. Not better, but as good. Try the Strawberry cake.

A local favorite for over 60 years. My husband grew up in Houston and he thinks this is the best bakery anywhere in the world. I would agree that it is certainly one of the best in the US. Whenever I want a special, hand decorated cake, I always go to Moeller's. But be careful, their delectibles are addictive and will add 5 pounds to your waste line before you have the will power to push them away!
