Memories Gown Preservation

I'm sorry others had some bad experiences, but I just had to say that our experience with this company was really good! Maybe they've improved things since these negative reviews, but just wanted to say that we had our dress back within three weeks, they had FedEx send us a tracking number, and they also did a beautiful job with the dress. I think it was a good value and would recommend them.

Almost the same thing happened to me that happened to the person who wrote the review on 9/14/2011. Two months after her, I sent in a wedding dress. Like her, after about 2 1/2 months I began to worry that the dress had not arrived. When I called, they said the dress had shipped but they had no proof of a Fed Ex tracking number because their system only keeps tracking numbers for two months! I also, never received an e-mail saying that the dress was shipped. I am a stay at home mom, so I am usually here when Fed Ex comes, or shortly thereafter. I fully believe they shipped my dress somewhere else. I would not recommend using this company. Instead, call around your local area and find a local cleaning business the specializes in cleaning gowns. If you live in a big enough city, you probably will have one.

After reading reviews about Memories Gown Preservation (which were all negative) I was really worried about sending my dress in. I bought the preservation kit when my bridesmaids bought their dresses through David's Bridal. They assured me that it was easy and Memories does amazing work. I have a high end designer dress with delicate fabric so I didn't want to just send it to just anyone. After procrastinating almost a year after my wedding, I wrapped my dress up and sent it in using the normal package without any upgrades. I sent it in on 10/7/11 and got it back 10/28/11. When I opened it I was amazed as to how great it looked. My dress was restored to its beauty. They got out the yellowing and stains so now it looks like it did the day I got it. The only issue was one of my flower details somehow flipped and you can't see the front. I called Memories to ask if they had any record of it falling off and if it was reattached. If not could I open it myself and flip it over. Not only did they apologize profusely they insisted that I send it back free of charge to correct the problem! They emailed me a UPS postage label and it is on its way back. Thank you so much to all of the people at Memories for doing such a professional job and making my wedding dress perfect so I can cherish it for years to come.

If I were able to give Memories Gown Preservation a negative star I would! I sent my dress and veil to get preserved to this company because it was referred to me by Davids Bridal. I shipped it in June 2011 and found it awkward that three months later, I had yet to receive my dress and veil. I called today and they stated that they shipped my dress in July! They didn't send me an email stating that they had shipped it, therefore I wasn't expecting it. They called FED EX and they verified that they delivered my dress in July! Since, Memories Gown Preservation stated there was no signature needed for the package, FED EX left the huge box on my step, which has yet to be found! Thank you Memories Gown Preservation for not thinking my WEDDING DRESS and VEIL was not special enough to need a signature upon delivery! Shame on FED EX, which they use.. for just leaving the box on the street! Besides my wedding pictures, I have no other tangible memories of my dress or veil and nothing to share with my daughter on her wedding day. For brides, whom are considering this company... please. please.. save yourself the heart break and use someone else!
