Great Western Boots

First off when I walked in the owner was on his cell phone I waited patiently for 5 minutes When he finally came to the counter he acted as though I were a bother. He was rude I came in for half shoes and heels which I were quoted over the phone to be $75. When I arrived at his shop a new price of $90 plus an additional $10 to clean. Now then my boots are work boots and the $90 is high but the $90 and his rude behavior is outlandish I won't do business with this establishment nor will refer anyone not because of the price but the piss poor service.

I have used these guys for years. They specialize in custom built boots (give them plenty of time because it needed) so they are great. They make your shoes look like new and are very reasonably priced. I cannot say enough good things.

I have used GreatWestern Boots to fix my motorcycle boots many times over the course of six years. I even took a brand new pair of boots to him that had a plastic sole and asked for his opinion on something with more grip. He put a very durable and thick rubber sole on and they have held up perfectly for over a year now without having to be resoled. I no longer live or work in the NW part of Houston, but would make the trip from south Houston to him because I trust him that much.

Have used GWB for, resoles, repairs, cleaning and basic questions, since 1985. Excellent, flawless professional work everytime. Always ready as quoted and prices can't be beat. Always eager nto help & please customers. I live in NW Houston, so he is close but I would drive hours to let GWB rework my boots if needed. He has worked on my cowhide, Boa, Lizard, Ostrich and Elrphant skin boots all perfectly and looking brand new when finished. WORTH THE DRIVE FROM ANYWHERE.
