Founded in 1915, CMC Recycling recycles all types of scrap metals, including aluminum and zinc. It is a processor of ferrous and nonferrous scrap metals. Its recycling plants operate as a part of its domestic mills segment. It processes and ships 3 million tons of scrap metal, which is a preferred raw material for various metal producers and manufacturers. It operates metal processing plants across the Sun Belt. The recycled metals are sold to steel mills, specialty steel mills, high-temperature alloy manufacturers, foundries, nonferrous primary and secondary consumers. It has experienced professionals in various fields, such as metallurgy, recycling, environmental management, safety, transportation, engineering and facilities management.
