I eat there sometimes three times a week. Excellent. Best ever. I can't get the tast out of my mouth. Except for recently. The last two times I have been there, there is definitley a change in the tast. I love the Southern style sausage's, I couldnt get a enough off, but that's all over with. They change the meat or the way they cook it. Also the ribs taste different. I still will eat here at Burns, but I must say there has been a big change in the tast of the Bar B Que. The change has been in the last month or so.. He had a Gold mine on his hands, I don't know if its a different cook or he has changed his recipe, but wich ever it is, Burns needs to go back to the way it was when he opened his door...

Provided by SuperpagesI 've been here twice and the food was pretty good n both occasions. However, i think the cashiers should be more polite and seems they want to be there by smiling sometime. Overall my visit was satisfactory.

This is some of the best BBQ in Houston and anywhere!
The new location/restaurant is immaculate/clean/well set-up and the employees are excellent/so nice and attentive.
The BBQ is incredible! Sausage Mmmm! I LOVE the beans! The best beans I think I've ever had. And their dessert are all homemade / BIG servings and SO GOOD! Oh and how could I forget their homemade bread?!?! Another hit!
Please go to Burns and not some corporate/out-of-state chain 'BBQ' garbage, support your local community which includes Burns BBQ some of the best around. :)

Provided by SuperpagesThis is the best BBQ in the city!!! The portions are large and the price is small. I have gone twice in one day. You can start with breakfast and end with dinner. Yum-Yum!!!!

The smell of Texas BBQ smoke hit me as I approached the resturaunt. A good sign! Nice place, friendly people, comfortable atmosphere. I ordered the two meat meal with ribs and "homemade" sausage with beans and potato salad sides. The ribs were tender and juicy and the links had a little spice to them. The beans can be a meal unto themselves. The sauce on the side was perfect for dipping the Texas side bread into. I'm bringing the family back for the experience. Well worth the drive!

In Northwest Houston when you put the words Burns + BBQ together you think of the legendary pitmaster Roy Burns. If you are looking for his legacy this is not it. The pluses are this is a nice clean eatery that is playing on the name, I tried the "homemade" link hoping that somehow it would come close to what we got on DePriest. Not so. Of you are looking for average BBQ in a clean building give this place a try. If you are looking for Roy's BBQ it's not here.
