Food is not seasoned consistently! I had fried catfish and one fillet was great. The second fillet was way over salted and seasoned. Opted to have the grilled veggies instead of fries. Fries came with my partners meal and looked disgusting. Right out of the bag and cooked in old oil and very greasy. My veggies were good but very few. For an additional charge of $1.99, I'd like more than 4 bites! Glad I didn't pay more for a salad. Hushpuppies nothing special. Service was great from the passing staff. Our waitress was too busy going through the bar to mess with us. If I don't get service, I don't tip!

Management is terrible. Our billing was off (in short, double charged my credit card) My wife returned the next day to resolve the matter and was belittled by a manager. That was a year ago. Went back tonight hoping to give them a 2nd chance. All was great. Great server, and great food. We told our server we used to be regulars there and had not been there in a year and told our story. Word must have got around to said manager who chased my wife out of the restaurant screaming and cussing at her. Then preceded to send two staff personal out after her all the while I was paying and had no clue what was going on. Managers name is Brittney and is the owners daughter. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Pray you never have a dispute with this place or you will be treated horribly and threatened. BTW my wife never raised her voice and did not deserve to be treated this way.

BEWARE OF THE FLIES!!!! I used to love going to this place every Wednesday night up until two weeks ago. I always order the Tina Special, which is not cheap, and this night I also ordered an order of rice. My husband and I both shared the rice. He had already quit eating, but I was just about finished with the rice when I noticed a sauteed fly in the rice!!! I called the waitress over to the table and told her we had a problem, that we had a bug in our food, and she quickly grabbed the plate and took off. I am sure they are trained to remove the evidence as quickly as possible. Could have kicked myself for not taking a picture first. Anyway, she said she was going to go tell the manager and a few long minutes later, she comes back to the table and said they were going to ONLY comp the rice. I told her no I wanted my whole meal comped, and she said she would get the manager. The manager came over and had the nerve to ask how everything was! I told her I wanted my entire ticket comped because I was now very nauseous and could not finish my food. I had only eaten 1/3 of the $18 dollar plate I got, and she said she couldn't do that bc I had already eaten some of it. I told her again I wanted the entire ticket comped and she had the audacity to say to me, "I can't do that because flies are common in a restaurant and there is nothing they can do about it!!!" I was floored! I told her I wanted to speak to the owner and she said he wasn't in and that he would tell her the same thing because it has happened before and that is how he said to handle it. I guess flies are common there. Seriously people! Beware! If they don't care enough about a regular customer anymore than that, they don't deserve to be in business. Flies are common!!!! I have never heard of such! Especially not cooked in your food!
