Cryotherapy
For the convenience of our patients, we provide minimally invasive outpatient procedures for the diagnoses and treatment of heavy uterine bleeding (Thermachoice endometrial ablation and hysteroscopy), urinary incontinence, and abnormal pap smears (LEEP and cervical cryotherapy). For patients desiring permanent contraceptive options, we also offer Essure permanent birth control.
Urinary Incontinence
Our physicians are trained laparoscopic and vaginal surgeons who manage a majority of surgical issues ranging from endometriosis, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, uterine fibroids, and heavy uterine bleeding. We offer urinary incontinence treatment and surgery, laparoscopic hysterectomy, vaginal prolapse repair and reconstruction, and infertility evaluation.

Gynecology
Dr. Lindsey Golden has a passion for educating patients about their health and their bodies during illness, in health, and in transitions through different stages of life. Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Golden attended University of Houston and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. She went on to complete internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas.
Female Infertility
From the first office visit, we try to simplify the medical process and let the patients become involved in their care. Our gynecological services include family planning and contraceptive counseling, comprehensive well woman exams, menopause support, female HPV and cancer screening, and STD evaluation and treatment. We also treat menstrual disorders, polycystic ovarian dysfunction, endometriosis, heavy bleeding, pelvic pain, and female infertility issues.
Obstetrics
Dr. Aurora Gonzalez graduated valedictorian from Martin High School in Laredo, TX, and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Yale University. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, TX. She was awarded the Outstanding Chief Resident of the year and has been in private group practice since 2000. Dr. Gonzalez currently is a faculty staff member for the St. Joseph Medical Center Ob/Gyn Residency program.
Endometriosis
Our obstetrical services include prenatal counseling, routine prenatal care, high risk prenatal care, and full obstetrical ultrasounds. Gynecological services include family planning, comprehensive annual well-woman exams, HPV counseling and screening, and STD evaluations. We also treat menstrual disorders, endometriosis, menopause and polycystic ovarian dysfunction.
Pelvic Pain
Pregnancy
Dr. Golden views it as a privilege to help women through some of the most difficult and rewarding parts of their lives, including pregnancy and childbirth. While enjoying all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecology, her special interests include prenatal care, pelvic organ prolapse/female urinary incontinence. Dr. Golden enjoys spending time with her husband and traveling.
Labor and Delivery

General Surgery
I authorize direct payment to be made to the physicians at Aurora Gonzalez MD, PA or other providers for any and all medical or surgical services rendered. I understand that if any services or charges are not covered, or if Aurora Gonzalez MD, PA is not able to verify eligibility, that I am responsible for all charges incurred for services rendered.
Minimally Invasive Surgery
After realizing that she wanted to focus on women’s health, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Pennsylvania. During her residency she received multiple teaching awards including the resident teaching award and the medical student teaching award from Thomas Jefferson School of Medicine. She believes that taking care of patients is an honor and a privilege. While enjoying all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecology, her special interests include minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery and providing a positive and memorable pregnancy experience. Dr Vila-Wright joined Dr Aurora Gonzalez and Associates in August 2014.
Robotic Surgery
Dr. Whitelock believes that healthy habits such as physical activity and good nutrition can have rewarding benefits to overall well-being and enjoys helping women discover creative ways to be active and balanced. She practices general obstetrics and gynecology and also is interested in robotic surgery and other minimally-invasive procedures. She also enjoys exploring Houston, traveling to oceanside destinations and learning new line dances.
Hysterectomy
As highly trained laparoscopic and vaginal surgeons, our physicians are able to manage a wide range of gynecological surgical issues. We offer total laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy, and vaginal hysterectomy, and a wide array of laparoscopic procedures. We also specialize in pelvic organ prolapse repair such as bladder prolapse, uterine prolapse, and vaginal prolapse. We reconstruct vaginal tissue to aid in the return of normal vaginal function and satisfaction.
Endometrial Ablation
Endometrial ablation in the office. This is a simple office procedure that takes only 8 minutes, does not require general anesthesia, and allows the patient to return to work the next day avoiding a hysterectomy in most cases.
