Amazing Remodelers of Texas

Here's to Ray L---now I wont have to post this info. We signed when they had A- rating with BBB as of today-their rating is F! We have been dealing with these crooks for a year. They walked off our job left numerous items unfinished and damaged and are now trying to collect final payment through their lawyer. We signed with Amazing Remodelers and they were working under another name-Preferred Remodelers. This is fraud! Do NOT do business with them!! Any positive reviews are bogus.

Mark Feinhandler and/or Scott LeBlanc was sentenced to 10 years in prison for defrauding a couple of $10,000 as a down payment for a house that was not even his to sell.

Mark Feinhandler, who pleaded guilty to theft, was sentenced by state District Judge Elsa Alcala. The judge also recommended that Feinhandler pay restitution.



Feinhandler, presenting himself as Mark Stein, placed a newspaper ad on April 30 announcing a home for sale by the owner, according to court records.



A couple who had moved from Louisiana and were looking for a home responded to the ad, meeting Feinhandler at the one-story red brick house near Rosharon in Brazoria County.



Stein, who claimed to own the house, met the couple in the yard and agreed to help finance the sale. His asking price was $76,500.



The couple never saw the home's interior. Stein told them it had been leased to a woman who could no longer afford to pay the rent. He also told them the woman, who had a disabled son, had not yet moved out. The couple agreed to buy the house. Stein convinced them the tenants would move out by June 1.

My husband selected Amazing Remodelers of Texas to fix up our home after a bad storm. As a stay at home mom, I was around for most of the work and these guys did a wonderful job. They showed up on time everyday and were extremely professional and clean during and after the project. We are so pleased that we have contracted them again for our bathroom renovations.

Look. I did not originally want to post a review but I would hate for someone to go through the same experience as I did with these guys just because of the bogus reviews. You should really look at Angies list and the BBB before hiring ANY contractor. I did before hiring these guys because they were accredited with a B+ rating. Go look now!!! Personally, I will never do business with these guys again.

I bought a house that needed a kitchen update. I used Amazing Remodelers to do th entire kitchen update and I love it. They transformed my entire home. I'm very happy with the results!

Horrible communications and poor work. I regret ever calling these people in the first place and would never do business with them again. Check out their website and you will see the link does not even work. Save your money and go elsewhere.

These guys are great to work with. Reasonable rates and good communication throughout the process. They did a great job repairing some drywall and tile in my bathroom and they even came back to do some touch up work to make sure the job was perfect. Had a few small electrical projects done as well, which turned out great. I would recommend Amazing remodelers of Texas for small or big jobs you might have around your home.

Im still waiting for this company or Preffered Remodelers of Texas to finish the contracted job under the other name they used since 2013. After receiving 80 percent of the money, they left and never came back after completeing only 50 percent of the work! Don't waste time or money on this company. Don't sign a contract if in doubt,especially with this company they are con artist magnified!!!!!!

Terrible customer service. And their finishers do a poor job!



These gusy do not like to return your calls nor reply to your emails if they have already put you on a hook by having a signed contract and a retainer.



They are way too expensive than most quality remodelers. They also go by another name ;The Preferred Remodelers of Texas. Get other quotes from others and do not get pressured by their tactics. You'll be glad that you did.



Also these guys do not know how to schedule different contractors. They scheduled the painter on the same day as the electrician whom was to install lights and fans.

Needless to say, the painter had to wait untill all the fixutres were installed and then he had to cover them all and start painting. That was a waste of couple of hours and still my fixtures where oversprayed. I had to later go back and clean them!



And by the way, there were neumerous nail heads protruding from the sidings which rather than setting them in, the painter just caulked around them and painted! Again, I had to go back and spend 2 hours setting them in and do my own touch up paint!



As for their roofers, They damaged some of the new shingles that were installed. The company did not like the fact that i had to ask them to fix their mistake. They doubted that my statement, claiming that their roofers had been with the company for many years, thus this could not have been!!!



No, I do not recommend them.

Run as fast as you can!! No Joke. Very unprofessional. Lots of Mistakes that they had tobe redone. Once they get your money, they take forever to do anything.



If its too late dont pay anything in advance of ensuring the progress of the work is more advance that what youve paid.
