Arbor Trace Real Estate

I have really been disappointed with the service I have received so far working with Arbor Trace. First warning I should have taken serious and not lightly is when I made an appointment to have someone from Arbor Trace view my property so that they could manage it. The day of my appointment, I drove 2 hrs from another state to meet them, there was a no show. That's when I should have left and found someone else because we are off to a bad start. I decided to call and the uncle of the employee decided to show up in his place. That was September. I handed over the keys to my home and waited for a phone call to set up for inspection & repairs in order to have a tenant move in. Never heard from anyone for almost a month or more. I had to call the uncle that met me at my home in order to get the process started. Now repairs. I received a detailed invoice of what needed to be fix which was fine. I would prefer an invoice from the person that is actually performing the labor for several reasons. This company has dishonest people working for them. If you would like to have an additional 205.00 added to a service at your home, feel free. Living 2 hrs away from my home with a family living in it means you want people managing your property that you trust. I had plumbing problems at the home which is expected because of the age of the home. The plumber that works for the company got on the job immediately. He charged me 245.00 but Arbor Trace employee told me the plumber quoted me 450.00! I guess he was not expecting me to ever talk to the guy doing the work and he must think I'm dumb or something that I would not learn about this. I asked him what was an additional 205.00 for and decides to inform me it's an up charge fee that they charge. I looked over my contract and saw that if something more like paper work, etc has to be done, there is a 45.00 per he charge. You made 1 phone call to the plumber and I'm slapped with a lie! Why was I not given the quote and then you tell me I'm gonna charge you an additional 205.00 to send this plumber to your home? Because you are dishonest with a lack of integrity. I emailed the uncle that visited my home in September about this, no response. I called him and left a message, no returned phone call. This means that the people representing Arbor Trace will cause you problems if you turn your home over to them to manage. I am still waiting on call as well as my contract to end so that I can hire a company I can trust.
