Deans and Family

Dean Walker and Family Seafood Resteraunt is Fantastic. We went there on a recent camping trip to Charleston. We wanted a good seafood meal that didn't require a federal bailout for our budget!! Deans was reasonabley priced, with ample servings and had a very pleasant atmosphere. I had the oysters and shrimp which were cooked to perfection. The shrimp had a lightly dusted coating with just enough crunch, absolutely. The oysters were to die for. My wife had shrimp and fish. She raved. Dean himself came out and talked with us for 20 minutes. He is as unique as his resteraunt. Any man who built his wife a Goat Hotel can't be all bad. If you are searching for a down home good seafood meal in the Charleston area, go to Dean's. It is in Hollywood, SC, but it is well worth the drive.
