Beacon Square Civic Association

This is such a great place to meet new people and create new friendships. The pool and Tiki area are great as well as the shuffle board, quilting club, card and games, billiards, exercise room and the Monday Night Music is so much fun and if you like to dance or just to listen to the music this is the place to be. Also the pancake breakfast and dinner events are great. So much to do. It's a nice place to relax for everyone. I read a comment made about supervising your children, well this has to be the case because if someone is not and their child(ren) are breaking things or disturbing others it has to stop. I can guarantee that if a membership as been suspended for whatever reason the member would have been warned more than 1 time that's for sure. Let your neighbours know what they are missing if they aren't members!

This association is doing so much to help the neighborhood. Sidewalks on Moog Road are results of civic's hard work. Great recreation!

Junior olympic pool is great. Love the social activities like dances and picnics.

The civic association is a great asset to the community. The board of directors definitely wants this to be something fun for the entire neighborhood, and there is always something to do. Keep up the good work!

As a realtor in the area, I find Beacon Square Civic Association which is run solely by volunteers to be fantastic! They all care about the community they live in and take pride in keeping the place nice and inviting. There is always something fun to do & they are open to ideas always on how to make it better ! If you live in or around this community I would advise you to check out the association - membership is open to everyone & the pool is beautiful! Keep up the great work your doing BSCA !

The civic center is a great place to meet fun loving people and have a great time. My favorite is billiards and Monday night music & dance.

Beacon Square Civic is a wonderful asset to the community;. There are so many things to do. My favorite is Cuckoo at the Pool. I think our civic center is the best kept secret in Pasco County.

Great rates, very friendly people, great place to do many things. Yes, there are rules, but if you do not abuse the rules, there are problems. There is so much to do there, shuffleboard, corn hole, horseshoes, basketball hoops, pool tables, ping pong, exercise room, hall rental with full commercial kitchen. There are many activities, Monday night music, game night, book club, weight loss group, activities for children. The pool is a junior Olympic size and is kept very clean. Clubs are only as good as the people in them. The office is open every Saturday for tours from 11am to 1pm. Go take a look for yourself!!!

In the past, I enjoyed taking my kids there. This year, however, I don't. The pool has some cooling issues...Therefore, the water is as hot as it is outside. They are working on it, but it has been nearly 2 months now.

In addition, I've been told that I don't supervise my kids when there in the parking lot playing basketball or soccer. It doesn't seem to matter that I can see them playing while sitting in a chair, or swimming. Secondly, I have now been accused of leaving them unsupervised in the Pool Room, which is so not true! I don't even let them go there.

Canceling a membership after you sign up, is ok, you just don't get ANY of your money back.

Also, you can't bring any friends, if they live in this neighborhood.

They also suspend your membership, without talking to you first or being given a chance to defend yourself.



I gave them 2 stars, because the Tikki is a great place to relax. One also can use the grill for cookouts. Most times, nobody complains if you stay a little late, as long as you are quiet.



At this point, I am not sure if I want to renew my membership for next year!
