They do not have enough people working there . I am eligible for the transportation reimbursement , but I have not received any reimbursement for all of my traveling expenses. When you have to travel to a hospital, or clinic for care on a weekly or daily basis this money is counted on to continue receiving care.

I have submitted my monthly travel papers in every month, along with the original paperwork which is filled out by the hospital or doctor. I have done everything to get in touch with them to resolve this. The problem is the lack of concern and employees there to return a call or even answer calls. When you call over to the transp. department that handles the reimbursement checks you will get an answering machine for Maria(she is the only one that handles this), you can leave messages that will go unanswered, or in my case I received a call back from her in July, two months after I started trying to get in touch with someone.

Maria told me very rudely , that she did not receive any of my paperwork and to stop bothering her. I checked with the office in the clinic and they showed me the paperwork, and it actually has a confirmation number and page from MATP .

They received my paperwork and it wound up on Maria's desk unfurtunately.

What is most disturbing to me is the fact that she can get away with this and nobody questions her about the money and where it is going. My insurance company sends her the money, not just me but other clients reported the same problem when dealing with MATP.It is a trasportation company, people depend on this service.

One day a young woman heard me explaining to the doctor < she pulled me aside and had an almost identical experience, only Maria told her the check was sent out already, and that it may have gone to the wrong address. I could believe that except after 3 months of her calling and trying to fix the problem she is right where I am, on the other end of the phone that never seems to get answered.
