I had several attractive bids through Thumbtack. But I called this business because I wanted someone local. I knew my AC was not turning on because of a very old thermostat. The other 2 units worked fine with new thermostat. Eddie came and within minutes of diagnostics, determined, the old thermostat was the problem. He charged me $90 for a thermostat that was available for $32 for an identical brand new one on line. He would not budge on the price. Additionally, he charged me $90 for labor and $35 service charge for the 25 minutes he spent here. I felt exploited. I had to cough up $215 for a $32 thermostat. I will not use this business ever again nor will I recommend to anyone.
