Wrost place ever! My wife and I went for lunch after 2pm today. We ordered #10 and 29. She found an eyelash on a piece of soft tendon when she were close to finish eating. I asked the waiter to come over and pointed it out to him. He wanted to take it to the manager on what to do while I didn't want to bother argue with them. So I told the waiter my wife's order should be free and I will pay for my. The waiter agreed on the spot. Then I went to pay. The manager or the owner clearly was unhappy with us. She said "That's not from us." "You need to tell us before you finish, so I will still collect 21.90." 11.95+9.95. Do you look into your broth and dig through your food to find hair before start eating?! No apology, not even a word of sorry came out of anyone's mouth there! I stood there with credit card in my hand and definitly not hand it to her. I told her that my wife found it when she almost finish eating, I will pay for my. Her response were "You should tell us before finish it." Then she took a pen, crossed my wife's order and circled my order. I paid for my 11.95 like I told the waiter, then walked out. I told my wife that we will never come back to this place again. And I certainly hope anybody care about how they get treated at restaurant doesn't go to this place.

I can understand when a place gets too busy and things get out of hand once a while. I even forgive an eyelash in the food. The waiter handled it well. It's how we got treated at the register and how she responded got me angry. If I can give a zero instead of one star I would.

Very Good Food

We watched this restaurant renovate from the pizza (way too expensive) place with great anticipation. Beaverton-Hillsboro is in great need of some good Vietnamese food; especially around the Cornell area. We weren't disappointed. The price is average - somewhere between $8 and $12 dollars, with ample portions. If you walk out of here hungry, then your appetite is super-sized. We had the salad rolls for appetizers and they were delicious with a wonderful peanut sauce for dipping. The rice vermicelli salads were so addictive and tasty; we are going to make this a regular on our restaurant crawls. Everything we saw was well presented and quite plentiful. The large table acrossed from us, filled with noisy (but pleasant) family members were served in the same curteous manner as the two of us. The hostess is a quiet woman bent on making you feel welcomed and satisfied when you leave. The place is extremely clean and well accustomed with just the right amount of art work and the tables are spaced just right - not too close so you hear your neighbor's conversations. I recommend theThai ice tea - it was great!
