Mary Pomerantz Advertising

Mary Pomerantz Advertising (MPA) just redid our old website and used some sort of CMS (content something something) called Drupal. Now I can make changes to our website myself and not be charged every time like my old agency was doing with the flash website they had made for us.



Our original website that my nephew did for us looked good but then he went off to college and was too busy to redo it for us. So we hired another agency a few years ago and they redid our site using the flash and we can never change anything without it being a big deal and costing a lot of money. We are a small business and were lucky enough to survive these last couple of years! Recently we started to see our business pick up again and we have been wanting to get our website updated.



I contacted my nephew and he told me we should use the wordpress because you can change stuff very easy. So we looked for a affordable advertising agency for the wordpress and contacted Mary Pomerantz Advertising after we read some good reviews about them. A guy named Tom at MPA explained to us that the wordpress was very limited compared to the Drupal and was created for blogs rather than full functional dynamic websites. So we told them to use the Drupal and we really love our new website. Now I make changes to our website almost every day without having to pay a advertising agency anything.

I am a small business owner in Livingston NJ and wanted to find an affordable nj advertising agency. First I contacted local agencies that were right from Livingston or our neighboring towns. I was really turned off by the people I met. Some told me I needed to spend a lot more money on my advertising or they had an attitude like they were doing me a big favor to let me pay them. I was at a NJ trade show and saw a booth for Mary Pomerantz Advertising and decided to go up to their booth and I actually got to speak with Mary Pomerantz herself and another nice salesperson (Joe) about the experiences I had with my local advertising agencies. I explained to them that I just gave up on the idea of using any nj advertising agency and decided just to try and use Google adwords myself. I had a little bit of success on my own with adwords but I knew I didn’t know what I was doing. I keep thinking to myself that I was probably wasting a lot of money and somebody who did know what they were doing probably would get much better results than I could. When I told them that I didn’t have a big advertising budget I couldn’t believe it when Mary said no problem they work with every size company and they could definitely help me regardless of my budget size. Fast forward 6 months or so since that day we met at that trade show and I can’t say enough good things about MPA. They have really helped me grow my business in this very bad economy using just Google adwords. They also confirmed what I had suspected that I was doing almost everything wrong with my Google adwords campaign. A few weeks ago they finished redoing my website using some content management system software. I have to admit I really don’t know exactly what this content management stuff is but because of it I can make text changes or updates right on my site whenever I want to and my website looks so much better and more professional. Now I don’t even have to call anybody for help whenever I want to make a change like I always had to do in the past before I found MPA.
