Billy's Transmissions II

I had to have work done on my transmission and they were polite and very informative. They offered suggestions for future maintenance to avoid large repair bills. I would recommend them to everyone who needs transmission repair work done at an honest establishment.

I took my truck up there to get the transmission rebuilt in the beginning of January, I got it back and didn’t seem to have any problems with it until about a week or 2 later, then it began acting up and I took it back up there, they “fixed” it and I got it back, still having problems and the check engine light came on showing “trans fault” in the message screen, I took it back up there again, for the 2nd time in 3 months after the rebuild. They call me a day or two later and tell me that they cleared the check engine light and drove it and there was nothing wrong with it, he said they drove it from the shop to Greensboro to Asheboro to Lexington and back and didn’t feel a single problem. Okay that’s fine, I gave it to them with 3/4 tank of gas and get it back with the gas light on, I don’t know if anyone else sees this as a problem but I do because they drive it all around but can’t replinish fuel and didn’t find a problem. On my drive home I feel 2 issues arealdy, I decide to take it to another transmission shop and he hooks it up and diagnoses the issue in under 5 minutes. So it looks to me like they’re not doing their job and just driving your vehicle around for their pleasure. Needless to say I am very unhappy and will NEVER recommend them to anyone, any time.

Customers BEWARE!! Our experience with this particular business was horrible! We ended getting stranded on many occasions from out of state, and had to pay overwhelming towing fees as a result of this transmissions shops unsatisfactory services
