Carolinas Center for Advanced Management of Pain-Dr. John Haasis

After waiting a long time to hear back, I recieved a call that I am too difficult of a case and their is nothing they can offer. Isn't it in the title of their name ADVANCED management? Why put that on there if they won't even see difficult cases?

Like stated before, Dr. Haasis doesn't know what he's doing. He prescribed me a medication that he said wasn't a narcotic and wouldn't interact with my medications (I had to ask because he was rushing me out the door). Turns out it WAS a narcotic and I had a bad and scary reaction to the medication. When I reported what happened to his office, they didn't seem to care and said in order to change meds I needed an appointment, but they couldn't get me in for THREE WEEKS. So I was left with no options to help my excruciating back pain. Needless to say, I switched doctors. Besides his lack of knowledge about medication, Dr. Haasis tries to rush you through appointments, coming up with hasty solutions without really looking through your chart or discussing much with you. I even had to remind him to look at the MRI he ordered. His office staff is not very good either. They goof off and chat with each other the whole time, and once even ignored me while I was at the window for 10 minutes while they talked and giggled about their personal lives. Also my wait was over an hour my first visit. Don't go to this office. It's terrible.

I would be very careful and make sure Dr. Haasis knows what he is prescribing before leaving his office, because he over prescribed me and I could have died. He is not a professional like he claims to be!
