Step Up Academy

This studio is like a home and is amazing the owners care about everyone not just the comp kids. You get just as good of training at this studio as you would at the Rock but it’s more of a family environment.

If I could give this company 10 stars I would! My daughter has been dancing at Step Up for 2 years and we absolutely love it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the dance instructors are professional and experienced and the owners are extremely dedicated to the studio and all of their the “Step Up Families.” I recommend joining Step Up in a heart beat if you want a home away from home setting and to be trained by the BEST! Thank you Step Up!

My daughter was on the competition team at this studio and we left during our third season there . Terrible environment for a child! The owners are paranoid and contantly think someone is talking about them to the point that they play the parents against one another to try to get information out of them. They claim they won't tolerate studio drama but they are the ones that create the drama. My daughter was constantly humiliated and degraded in class by the owner Christina and another teacher Gene. If you're a parent who sucks up to her constantly and your child is one of her favorites then you get special attention and opportunities . There is no fair and equal treatment at this studio. I was warned by several people not to go to step up and that the owners were crazy but thought I would give it a chance. It turned out to be so much worse than I imagined it could be! My daughter is now at the BEST studio in town- The Rock Center for Dance.

Only good if your a brown noser. Or expect your kid to get bad training and be in the back.
