She's awesome! Not rude But very protective to all those birds she hand raised herself in the store. Even the birds she was baby sitting for she hand raised. First time I came into the store she said NO! NO!NO! I was about to walk out but she gave me 1/2 hr stern lecture on how to handle birds. Then I was able to handle each bird I wanted to without being bitten and all of them wanted to be held or cuddled by you. Met five different customers who bought birds from her and they hugged, kissed or raved about her. Practically every bird in the store was taken and she had new baby ones she was tendering to. Was looking to spend 400 max on just a small bird ended up spending couple grand for an entire set up. Checked around local stores and called friends who were knowledgeable said it was a good price. I couldn't even handle the other birds in the other stores like I handled the ones in her store. Plus I know I could call her anytime for help.

We went in to look at the birds. She was very snappy & flat out rude. She makes you buy the bird & her cage for way to much money. I will never go back to her store again.

Thanks a lot for not posting correct info about your business. I drove 15 minutes to get to the store. Closed. Would have saved me gas and time if you updated info.

I was so impressed how clean this bird shop is and was tickled to see the birds out of their cages every time i go into the store. The shop us immaculate clean and their birds are all friendly and tame. Unlike another bird store where i made the mistake of throwing away 1300.00 on a blue front amazon parrot that i could never hold and hated me and gave me a few nasty bites! I begged this store to take her back and just give me 1/3 of what i paid them and was refused. It was my own fault for buying a bird from a bird store that never has their birds out of the cage when you walk into the shop. Breaks my heart to see their sad little faces stuck in a cage 24/7. Not so at Southwest Aviary. Their birds are always out and so tame. I bought a goffin cockatoo from them a month ago. It was almost a year old and the last of the goffin babies to get adopted out of that particular lot. He was 10 mos old and he is a cuddlebug. I can hold him upside down and rock him like a baby. And he loves it. Bridgitte is the manager and she is also a parrot whisperer! She is so good with those birds and gives them so much love and attention. If you buy a bird from them you get free wing and nail trims for your parrot. It takes her 5 min and she is done. I also brought in a bird that needed a nail trim and she had it done before i even realized she had opened up the cage. AND she did it for me for free. I am looking forward to getting a african grey baby from her just as soon as my name comes up on the waiting list. I love this bird shop and respect and admire Bridgitte.

This was the most comfortable bird store I have ever been to. Immaculately clean, birds are all so loving and well adjusted, and Bridgette is simple amazing. She runs that shop like nobody's business. She was more than helpful, her prices are way more than reasonable. I paid $400 less at her shop than I would have at another shop in town for the same bird and assessories. I would recommend a thousand times over and over.
