Real Estate Litigation
Mr. Zimbelman has been practicing complex construction, business, commercial and real estate litigation for over twenty years. Mr. Zimbelman’s multi-jurisdictional practice concentrates on private and public contracting, mechanic’s liens, real estate, trusts and estates, employment, business and commercial litigation. He has successfully represented his clients in numerous bench trials, jury trials, and arbitrations with respect to multimillion dollar claims, and is a frequent speaker on construction, real estate, and litigation topics.
Construction Litigation
The founding partners have been leaders in the creation and development of Nevada law governing the construction industry. There are three major claim statutes that pertain to construction in Nevada (i) the prompt pay statute for public works (NRS 339), (ii) the right to stop work statute (NRS 624), and (iii) the mechanics lien statute (NRS 108). The mechanics lien statute previously existed, but the partners of the firm have amended it twice and authored NRS 339 and NRS 624. They have drafted or participated in the drafting of every construction claims statute passed in Nevada since 1999 and have worked on behalf of the Nevada Subcontractor’s Legislative Coalition and in coordination with several prominent industry organizations, including AGC, ABC, NCA, and NSA.
Real Estate Transactions
Primarily devoted to representing clients in matters involving (i) business entity formation, (ii) business transaction counseling; (iii) business succession planning, including the sale of businesses, (iii) real estate transactions, including the sale and leasing of real property, (iv) contract review and drafting, (v) estate planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts, family limited partnerships and similar planning vehicles, and (vi) probate and trust administration.

Mr. Domina, a partner and shareholder with Peel Brimley, has been with the firm since graduating from law school in 2007. While Mr. Domina primarily practices in the areas of private and public construction litigation, Mr. Domina also represents clients before the Nevada State Contractors’ Board, the Federal and Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration and various trade and labor unions. Mr. Domina also has vast experience handling all types of business, commercial and real estate litigation, including representing both residential and commercial property owners who have disputes with their Owners’ Associations and Architectural Review Committees.
