Party City

With all due respect, if a store preferred their customers to not take pictures of items then a sign needs to be placed at the entrance informing patrons that taking pictures is prohibited. I took a picture with my Blackberry in order to get approval from an individual wanting me to help gather supplies for a small party. A store clerk appears from a different aisle informing me I could not take pictures of items in the store but if I wanted to try on something and take a photo then that is allowed. (Makes zero sense)



The store clerk went on to inform me that I can look online for pictures of their items but I am not allowed to take pictures.



I walked the entire store to ensure I had not missed a sign stating that photos were prohibited. There was no sign, but there was a rude employee.

I would like to share my experience by saying this place had the rudest customer service. They blew up the balloons for my granddaughter's birthday party and required 24 hours notice. They charged me extra per balloon for the balloons to keep the helium. All supplies came from Party City! The balloons did not stay up. I called them back and told them and they did not have replacements and wanted me to drive clear way back to town so they could see but they did not have replacements. They took my money for the balloons and when I asked for the balloons, the clerk rudely said "You've got them." My cousin was with me and she said "NO SHE DON'T ...why don't you look around you and hand them to her. It was a horrible experience and I am turned off from doing business from Party City in Newark, Ohio. I cannot believe how rude the clerks and managers were there. I will never go back again. I am not boycotting Party City, I am saying it was a horrible experience and not worth the trouble to save a couple of pennies.
