Med Express

I walked in there at 740pm sick as can be and I was turned away because they wanted to go home. So their hours are not as indicated on website or door. I was very disappointed. I always come here since they opened and I don't think I will ever go back again. Very unprofessional.

My daughter got sick early this morning and later in the day started having abdominal pain. I took her to MedExpress in Hazlet, NJ and the Dr. that examined my daughter didn't even introduce himself but based on the discharge papers his name was Dr. Singh. He basically said that I should just go to the hospital and when I asked why he said that he didn't believe she had appendicitis but that she could be dehydrated and needed an IV. I asked if she had clear signs of dehydration since she had been drinking all day to which he responded no but that we should take her anyway to be sure that she wasn't dehydrated. It was close to closing time and I felt that he barely even examined my daughter properly. What is the point of an urgent care if the Dr. on staff doesn't even know how to properly evaluate the situation and tells you to go elsewhere?! He should have turned me away as opposed to taking my money and then telling me to go get evaluated at the Emergency room.

This place is the best urgent care I have ever been to. Very clean, well run, fast intake, and through care. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone.

I've been to Med Express 2 times in the last 3 months and fortunately for me saw Dr. Singh both times. He is a wonderful doctor!!! He is so knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. Really knows how to talk to patients and explain everything in great detail. He called me to ask how I was feeling and gave me advice with my illness. I will never go to another place again!! Dr. Singh and the entire staff are fantastic, friendly and overall the BEST!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

It had just snowed quite a bit yesterday and everything was closed. I hurt my back significantly, at work, and had already been to the ER. The worker's comp tried to get a doctor's appointment, but everyone was behind. They gave me MedExpress. The staff today was excellent. In pain, and upset, Dr Singh quelled my fears and expedited scripts for medication and the required tests. I am grateful for their excellent service.
