Choi Kab Soo Taekwondo

I am an instructor at Kab Soo Choi Taekwondo. I have been training in taekwondo for seven years, and am a second degree black belt. I am also bilangual, being able to speak in Korean as well as English (as demonstrated).



Master Choi is honestly the best Master to come to this school. I have been training with many masters, but most of them would just sit in the office and make me do endurance training on my own. But with Master Choi, who joins in the exercise and training, I can learn by good example. Also, my form and power have improved greatly after training with Master Choi. I also trained to earn my second degree under Master Choi, and at the black belt testing, other Masters from the area came to judge the test. During the test, many masters were surprised at the level of performance I gave at my age (especially in leading the demonstration with all the testees). Master Choi is not one of those Masters who just give out belts in exchange for money. He truly tests the students so that they are worthy of their belt promotion.



Master Choi's English may be limited, but his teaching methods are great. He studied psychology in college and knows the most efficient ways of teaching. Also, I enjoy volunteering my time at this school to help Master Choi with English.

I could not be happier with this school. My 3 sons have been students here since Master Choi took over 1 year ago. Joining Master Choi's Tae Kwan Do school was the best decision. Unlike other local "chain-style" schools, the students here are not just dollar signs. Master Choi does not force 1 year contracts, which are common at other schools. He cares about each student and makes sure each one reaches their full potential. I've noticed marked improvements in my sons' discipline, concentration, motor skills, and confidence. Taekwando has also helped them in school They each are now getting straight As.



One of the benefits of joining this school is that Master Choi, a 7th degree Master, teaches each and every class, unlike other schools which hire less qualified teachers.



I'd recommend this school wholeheartedly.
